On April 17th, 2014, I visited the prestigious Mailman School of Public Health at Columbia University in New York City and had talks and lunch with Regina Santella, Robin Whyatt, Pam Factor-Litvak, Beizhan Yan and others. The School hosts among others “the NIEHS Center for Environmental Health in Northern Manhattan” and “the Columbia Center for Children’s Environment Health”.
At the seminar I had an one-hour long lecture about “Hexabromocyclododecane (HBCDD) – a brominated flame retardant now regulated in the Stockholm Convention”.
On April 21, 2014, I visited Queens College of the City University of New York and had a discussion meeting with Chuixiang Yi, whom I met in Xian, China, last year. He is working with global climate research.
